The Edmonton Food Resource Map was created out of a desire to make food resources known and accessible to community members and front-line workers who support them. This map highlights food resources that are available within Edmonton:
Free food resources
Low-cost food resources
Food rescue
Grocery and markets
Growing and natural food assets (e.g. community gardens)
Resources related to learning and skills around food and nutrition

This interactive map helps locate food resources across Edmonton. With it, we hope to increase access to good food for all.
How to use the map
On the top left of the map, there is a button that opens the map’s sidebar. This shows the categories included on the map:

Customize your view: Turn different resource categories on or off by using the checkboxes in the sidebar.
Every icon on this map represents a food resource. Click an icon to see details about that resource.
Searching with keywords in Google My Maps is limited. The search function helps you find resources near specific locations, such as neighbourhoods, addresses, or intersections.
To report an update, suggest a new resource, share a comment, or tell us how this map has impacted you, please fill out this Google Form.
